How to See Facebook Timeline in Chronological Order

Facebook is one of the most popular social media apps worldwide, and it’s a great way to stay in touch with friends and family. However, depending on your number of friends, your timeline may become congested over time with lots of random posts and ads. To make things a bit more manageable and easier to look at, you might consider setting your Facebook feed to show the most recent posts. This guide will show you how to see your Facebook feed in Chronological order.

How to See Facebook Feed in Chronological Order

To see your Facebook feed in chronological order, open the Feeds tab. All the content you see on the Feeds tab is sorted by the most recent posts from people, Favorites, Pages, and groups you follow. In other words, you’ll see the newest posts first. The Feeds feature is not available on computers but is available on Android, iPad, iPhone, Facebook Lite, and through a mobile web browser.

What Order Does Facebook Normally Show Posts?

Facebook uses something called ranking to order the posts shown on your Facebook feed. Rankings are influenced by several factors, including:

  • The frequency in which you interact with posts from friends, groups, or pages, with friends and family being prioritized.
  • The types of posts you interact with (photos, videos, links).
  • How recently something was posted.
  • The engagement of a post.

Facebook uses these criteria, among other things, to personalize your feed and create a diverse stream of posts from various sources.
