Ring Video Doorbell 4 – Released April 2021 (Newest)

The newest Ring Doorbell is the Ring Video Doorbell 4. This device was released on April 2021. The newest iteration of the Ring Doorbell has 1080p HD video and improved battery over the previous models. Like most Ring Doorbells, you can access a live video feed from your phone or smart device using the Ring App. With a powerful upgraded battery, this model can hold a charge for months between recharges.

Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 – Released March 2021

Before the Ring Video Doorbell, 4 was the Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2, which was released in March 2021. The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 is a wired version of the Ring Doorbell with two-way talk and head-to-toe HD video. Because there is no battery pack, there’s no need to recharge this model. However, it does require professional installation.

Ring Video Doorbell Wired – Released February 24, 2021

After the Ring Video Doorbell 3 is the Ring Video Doorbell Wired. The Ring Video Doorbell 3 was released on February 24, 2021. Like the Ring Video Doorbell 2, the Ring Video Doorbell Wired is obviously a wired version of the ring doorbell that does not require you to charge the battery.

Ring Video Doorbell 3 – Released April 2020

After the Ring Video Doorbell Elite is the Ring Video Doorbell 3. This device was released in April, 2020. While the Ring Doorbell 3 has a shorter battery life than newer models, it still has the same 1080p HD video with night vision and 2 way talk that Ring users are accustomed to.

Ring Video Doorbell Elite – Released June 28, 2017

The Ring Video Doorbell Elite was originally released on June 28, 2017 and is another wired version of the Ring Doorbell. Unlike other versions that use WiFi technology, the Ring Video Doorbell Elite has an ethernet port that residents can use to hardwire it to the internet. It also boasts a wider, flatter appearance than older models.

Ring Video Doorbell Pro – Released 2016

The Ring Video Doorbell Pro uses older battery technology than the more current models and was originally released in 2016. While it does run on older tech, it still has 1080HD video and will connect with your Alexa.

Ring Video Doorbell – Released 2014

The originally Ring Video Doorbell was re-released in 2020 and boats 1080 HD video, two-way talk, and motion detection. Though it is the oldest model in the Ring catalog, the updated technology makes this a great budget option.
