How to Make a Poll on Facebook

Facebook is a great way to stay connected with friends and family worldwide. With over 2 billion active users, Facebook is an excellent platform for conducting polls and surveys. If you’re confused about how to make a poll, we’re here to help. Here are some instructions on how to make a poll on Facebook.

How to Make a Poll on Facebook

To make a poll on Facebook:

1. Click the Menu icon at the top of the screen.
2. Click Groups.
3. Click the Discussion tab.
4. Right-click in the Write something… field.
5. Click the ⋯ icon next to Add to your post.
6. Click Poll.
7. Write your question in the top in the Write something… field.
8. Type the options in the Option slot.
9. Click Post.

And voila! You’ve created a poll. Unfortunately, there is no way to currently add polls on a personal or business profile on Facebook/Meta. For some reason, Meta decided to take away that feature, but you can still do it within groups. We recommend joining a group that enjoys the subject matter you’re polling, then polling in there. If you want specific people’s opinions, ask them to join your group so they can weigh in.
